Elden Ring Stormveil Castle Walkthrough

Stormveil Castle is the first major dungeon in Elden Ring, serving as the gateway to the rest of the game. This walkthrough will guide you through its challenging halls.

Getting to Stormveil Castle

After defeating Margit the Fell Omen, the path to Stormveil Castle opens. The castle is located north of the Stormhill region in Limgrave.

Main Path

  1. Castle Gate → Main Courtyard

    • Defeat the soldiers and knights
    • Find the Map Fragment for Stormveil Castle
    • Look for the secret passage on the right

  2. Main Courtyard → Inner Courtyard

    • Beware of the Grafted Scion (optional boss)
    • Use the rooftops to avoid enemies
    • Find the Site of Grace in the courtyard

  3. Inner Courtyard → Godrick’s Throne Room

    • Navigate through the castle interior
    • Defeat the various enemies and knights
    • Face Godrick the Grafted (main boss)
